Cette ceinture fléchée est une copie de la ceinture de style L’Assomption qui était faite à L’Assomption, Québec. Ses plus vieilles origines connus sont du 18ème siècle (les 1700). C’est le plus vieux patron de ceinture fléchée connu. Les ceintures de L’Assomption étaient les plus communes dans l’Ouest du Canada jusqu’à environ 1850 où les ceintures Coventry sont devenues importantes.
