Étchiboy’s bags are named in honour of the Métis communities in the road allowance.

This was a Métis road allowance community established in 1988, after the Métis were displaced from Bloodvein Indian Reserve, located to the west of the creek. The community was near the confluence of the creek and the Bloodvein River.Source: Lawrence J. Barkwell

Les sacs de Étchiboy sont nommés à l’honneur des communautés métisses de l’allocation routière.

Il s’agissait d’une communauté métisse de l’allocation routière créée en 1988, après que les Métis aient été déplacés de la réserve indienne de Bloodvein, située à l’ouest du ruisseau. La communauté se trouvait près du confluent du ruisseau et de la rivière Bloodvein.
